Paul Gauron, a partner in and former chair of the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Energy Practice, specializes in the general representation of corporate clients and in acquisitions and project development of energy-related projects.
Work for Clients
Mr. Gauron spends substantial time representing manufacturing and service corporations of various sizes in a wide range of matters, including acquisitions, financings, contractual relations, corporate governance and general day-to-day matters. He also has extensive experience representing owners, developers and operators of energy projects utilizing fuels, including nuclear, municipal solid waste, culm, wood waste, tires, landfill gas and peat, and privatized activities such as water treatment, wastewater treatment and sludge utilization. Most recently, Mr. Gauron has assisted in the acquisition of several nuclear power generation facilities.
Professional Activities
Mr. Gauron is a member of the Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations. He also served as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Archdiocesan Central High Schools, Inc. for 10 years and is a Knight of Malta. In addition, Mr. Gauron is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Publications/Presentations
Mr. Gauron has been a panelist at several seminars dealing with the privatization of governmental functions.
