Ms. Bundy Scanlan has extensive experience with various regulatory compliance issues, as well as privacy compliance issues. She has been responsible for the creation, development and execution of numerous compliance programs for some of the country's largest financial institutions.
Professional Activities
Ms. Bundy Scanlan has been selected for inclusion in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. She is the former chair of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors Consumer Advisory Council; the former (and founding) president and current board member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals; and chair of the Compliance Management Subcommittee of the American Bar Association. An alumnae trustee of the Board of Smith College and trustee emeritus of the Board of Bryant University, Ms. Bundy Scanlan also serves as on the board of the Boston Children’s Museum.

Professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin Procter in 2005, Ms. Bundy Scanlan provided consulting expertise to various corporations, assisting them in obtaining solutions for complex regulatory compliance issues. Before that, Ms. Bundy Scanlan served as the Regulatory Relations Executive for Bank of America, where she managed the financial institution's primary relationships with its global government regulators, and ensured that all regulatory examinations, communications and operational strategies were appropriately tailored, integrated and delivered to internal and external audiences. Ms. Bundy Scanlan joined Bank of America in 2004 during its merger with FleetBoston Financial, where she had served as Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer/Chief Privacy Officer since September 2002. She was responsible for managing a world-class regulatory compliance program for what was then the 7th largest financial institution in the United States. Ms. Bundy Scanlan joined Fleet in 1994 as Senior Vice President and the bank's first Director of Corporate Community Development, and was responsible for Fleet's corporate-wide compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) of 1977. Her Washington background includes roles as a House Appropriations Committee associate staff member in the office of Congressman Charles Wilson, a legislative assistant in the office of Congressman Lindsay Thomas, and manager of congressional liaison at Fairchild Republic Company. less »

Ms. Bundy Scanlan is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the Massachusetts Bar. She is also a member of the Bars of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
