Goodwin Procter’s professional development and training team is committed to helping you find your passion and enthusiasm for your work. Our goal is to train, motivate, and develop outstanding lawyers. We believe a great legal education comes from a balance of formal training and lots of opportunities to apply what you’ve learned to what you do in the office every day.

Our team has designed a broad and engaging program tailored to your needs and interests. Some courses, like deposition training, jury selection, and mock trial, are designed for people who want to focus on litigation. Others are geared toward business law, including anatomy of a corporate transaction and introduction to intellectual property. You will also find mentors in every practice area who are ready, willing and available to answer your questions and introduce you to others who can help you along the way.

While some firms may want you to see what it’s like to be a summer associate, we want you to experience life as an attorney. That’s why you are cordially invited to sit in on regular associate training sessions and practice area meetings. Learning is a continual, dynamic process.
